Seizing the graying of the world population as a golden opportunity,
France Bed Group sets its sights on developing products and
services destined to emerge as global standards.
Japan, now ranked at the highest level among most all countries in terms of average longevity, the ratio of elderly persons and the speed at which its society is graying, has indeed become the world’ s
most aged population. In nursing care, medical services, health-related sectors and other fields where the needs are rapidly rising hand in hand with this societal aging, the very fact that Japan does have
the world’ s oldest population means that there are also no models to serve as reliable references. In addition to this, the services that are available in Japan at present cannot be described as being truly
satisfying or all embracing. In the quest to develop products and services that will support people and make their lives for more secure and affluent, we are using the integration of our manufacturing and
sales systems to concentrate the company’ s management resources in a strong and sustained push ahead.
The new products and services targeting Japan’ s so-called “senior and silver” segments are structured to contribute to realizing an elderly society characterized by the key qualities of “prosperity
and compassion.” Another vital goal is to forge a global standard that can be put to adequate use in European countries, where the ratio of the elderly is a close runner-up to Japan’ s, as well as the
nations of Asia where the aging of populations is also advancing at a swift pace.
