Francebed Medical Home Care Research Subsidy Foundation furnishes active support for business ventures and research pertaining to home care, welfare equipment and other areas, while likewise acting as a strong backer of lectures, symposiums, meetings of academic societies and research associations and other valuable efforts. The foundation also supports sports, cultural and artistic activities for senior citizens, events aimed at improving the health and motivation of these elderly members of society and other efforts geared to contribute to longer and more active lives for us all.

The Furniture Museum was established in 1972 through the collaboration of all companies in the extended Francebed Group. Furniture pieces were pooled from various different eras, regions, traditions and uses, to both preserve for enjoyment by future generations and also provide use in research aimed at creating new types of furniture to fit current and future needs. In March 2005, the Museum was relocated to the grounds of the Francebed Tokyo Plant.
